For years we have envisioned starting a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization to support our members and the fire & EMS service in Carroll County, alongside providing charitable support to the communities we call home and serve. Our vision for this foundation is multi-faceted, supporting a broad mission that emulates the core values of the fire & EMS culture we hold dear:

SERVING THOSE WHO SERVE

The Carroll County Fire Fighters Fund offers support to the Fire & EMS Personnel who serve Carroll County, Maryland and the communities they serve and call home.

BENEVOLENT FUND

The first and core goal triggering the creation of the Fire Fighters Fund, we support the members of fire & EMS in Carroll County and their families in their time of need. 

EDUCATION & LEADERSHIP

Levering the wealth of training, education, and leading minds existing locally and nationally today, we look to foster a culture of high standards, progressive firefighters and EMS clinicians, and high-level servant leadership.

COMMUNITY AWARENESS

The members of Fire & EMS benefit from a strong relationship with a community that is well informed on the challenges, needs, and successes of its fire & EMS service.

SERVICE & MERIT RECOGNITION

​Firefighters and EMS clinicians are not always the greatest at accepting thanks, but recognition of achievements, service, and merit is important to reinforcing the best actions of those serving. The Fire Fighters Fund works to facilitate the everyday opportunities to recognize those members' service.

GRANT FUNDING

Other means of funding do not always pave the way to access the training, technology, or equipment that will benefit us most. The Fire Fighters Fund works to close that gap.

CHARITABLE COMMUNITY SUPPORT

We love the communities we are part of and those we serve. We look to provide the opportunity to offer additional aid to those causes we can stand together to support.
